During this workshop, lead facilitator Chris Boyle and his team will train your people to fully undertake process improvement projects. Attendees will learn the following skills:

DATA COLLECTION AND DRAWING CHARTS
The process analyst collects data by observing staff as they do their work. Direct observation ensures that the improvement team is always working with facts. The data collected is then documented on a process flowchart. Completed horizontal wallcharts are openly displayed so that everyone is fully aware of the work in progress.

ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT SESSIONS
The process analyst then leads analysis and improvement sessions with experts: the people who do the work. The team uses the process chart as "fresh eyes" to identify ways to significantly improve the way their work is done. The people who do the work have a vast amount of knowledge about the work process. This knowledge ensures radical, yet workable, solutions.

PREPARING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MANAGEMENT
The process analyst assists and coaches the team to prepare and present their recommendations. The analyst also helps prepare cost benefit conclusions and supporting documents critical to acceptance of the recommended process.

IMPLEMENTATION
Employee acceptance is assured because the people doing the work have actually made the recommendations for improvement. Fast and visible implementation is critical to the implementation process.
